What is the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)?
SSP is a music therapy developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, based on the polyvagal theory. By listening to 5 hours of filtered music over several days, SSP acts on the autonomic nervous system, helping to escape states of stress or survival to find a feeling of security and well-being.
The benefits of SSP
-
Nervous system regulation: It retrains the muscles of the middle ear to better detect safety signals.
-
Calming: improves relaxation, connection to self and others, and reduces reactivity to stress.
How does it work?
-
Listen via a dedicated application, with suitable headphones.
-
A personalized listening plan and polyvagal exercises are provided to maximize results.
-
Access to SSP for 12 months, allowing multiple repetitions for lasting effects.
For whom?
Originally designed to reduce overstimulation in autistic children,
SSP is now used for trauma, anxiety, stress, and even Long Covid.
Price and contact
The SSP is offered at a price of €250 for 12 months of full access (Connect, Core, Balance), including personalized support and exercises.
